Are my family and I covered for repatriation?

All of our policies cover repatriation as standard within the medical expenses cover. In the event of any medical emergency we ask you contact our medically trained 24 hour emergency assistance team within 48 hours.

Can I get insurance if just one family member has pre-existing medical conditions?

Of course, part of the quote process is a medical declaration for all people to be insured. You will be asked certain medical questions to determine whether a declaration needs to be completed. If you have a medical condition to declare (sometimes referred to as a ‘pre-existing’ medical condition’, the online quote will guide you through the process, or you could contact one of our customer service advisors if you have any questions.

Do we all need to travel together on family travel insurance?

If you purchase a Multi Trip policy, not only do we cover your family trips, but anyone over 18 is also covered to travel independently from the rest of the family.

Can I upgrade my family policy?

A Single Trip policy can be upgraded or extended prior to travel. A Multi Trip policy can be upgraded at any point to cover a different destination, cruises or winter sports.

Am I covered for family holidays in the UK?

Yes, purchasing family travel insurance is just as important for UK travel.

Do you have more than one holiday booked?

Make reservations – there is nothing worse than checking-in only to find you and your family will be sitting at opposite ends of the plane. Pre-booking your seats will ensure your family will be seated together, and you can even opt for a little extra leg room.

Allow plenty of time – you know how it is; toddlers love to dawdle! Make sure you allow extra time for exploring, toilet stops and temper tantrums.
